Blade 450 3D RTF

OVERVIEW

The Blade 450 3D gives intermediate to advanced heli pilots an outdoor ready-to-fly experience like no other. It comes out of the box equipped with state-of-the-art features like brushless power, digital servos, a heading lock gyro, CCPM control and symmetrical blades. Its new and improved cyclic and tail servo provides crisper, cleaner response for added precision and stability while the new heading lock gyro that provides more control over the tail for additional control and confidence. The 450's aggressive new body and trim scheme make this Blade is one hot heli. And because it's flight tested at the factory, no pre-flight setup is required.

Like its predecessor, the RTF version of the Blade 450 comes equipped with Spektrum's advanced DX6i 2.4GHz DSMX 6-channel programmable aircraft system. Besides providing freedom from frequency restrictions and interference, the DX6i's DSMX technology offers other unique advantages like faster control response and innovative features such as ServoSync. ServoSync automatically re-sequences transmitted data so mixed servos receive their pulses at the same time so you can fly 3D aerobatics with absolute precision. The system also includes the feather-light, 4.4-gram Spektrum AR6115e Microlite receiver.

The Blade 450 is ready for everything from smooth hovering to 3D aerobatic flying and blasts ready-to-fly 3D heli performance to new levels of precision and power. It comes completely assembled and equipped for aggressive 3D aerobatics with state-of-the art electronics and mechanics you would expect to find in more expensive kits that take hours to build. It's even been flight-tested and had the rotors balanced at the factory so you don't have to do any setup. Simply charge its 3S 2200mAh 30C LiPo battery and fly.

FEATURES

Lightweight main frame
The exceptionally rigid main frame has been specially designed for
advanced 3D pilots with an angled battery tray that keeps the CG high.
Triple ball bearing supported hardened steel mainshaft
The Blade 450 3D is the only heli in its class with ball bearings at the top
and bottom of the drive gears, as well as the top of the frame, supporting
the main shaft.
Composite aluminium/fibre-reinforced swashplate
The combination of aluminium with a lightweight fibre-reinforced material
keeps swashplate weight to a minimum without sacrificing strength or
precision.
CNC machined headblock
The extremely rigid, lightweight aluminium head block provides maximum
precision during 3D manoeuvres.
Belt-driven tail rotor
The tail rotor is driven by a simple, efficient belt drive system that provides
care-free reliability flight after flight.
Weighted tailblade mounting hardware
Boosts the speed and precision of the tail's response and reduces
tail servo load during hard 3D manoeuvres.
325mm symmetrical wood rotor blades
The rigid, lightweight main rotor blades come installed and balanced from
the factory so you can enjoy crisp, precise cyclic/collective response right
out of the box.

E-flite G210HL micro heading lock mems gyro
The G210HL uses the latest in MEMS technology to provide amazing holding power during the most aggressive 3D manoeuvres.
Auto-rotation system
Super smooth one-way bearing and low drag drive train deliver efficient auto-rotation performance.
E-flite DS76 cyclic servos and E-flite DS76T tail servo
The digital DS76-series servos are specially designed to deliver maximum power and precision for extreme 3D heli flight. The DS76T boasts extra speed for instantaneous tail response.
Spektrum AR6115E microlight receiver
The compact 4.0-gram AR6115e receiver provides the superior response of
Spektrum DSM™ control as well as the benefit of ServoSync™ , which dramatically enhances the precision of any CCPM heli.
Advanced rotor head mechanics
The rotor head mechanics have been optimised to provide the most aggressive 3D control response possible.
E-flite 420H brushless motor
This proven brushless motor will consistently deliver more than enough power for demanding 3D manoeuvres.
E-flite 3S 2200mAh 11.1v 30C LiPo battery
The high-C LiPo battery that is included provides more than enough power for high-energy, aggressive 3D flight.
E-flite 35A S-BEC speed controller
This robust speed controller is engineered to efficiently channel the high-current flow of most any high-C 3S LiPo battery.
