German Fokkers held air superiority until 1917. But when the SPAD XIII appeared  with Americas top WWI ace at the stick  their fortunes quickly turned. Vintage air combat meets park flyer convenience in the compact, almost ready-to-fly ElectriFly SPAD XIII.

Trim scheme inspired by WWI’s most successful American ace. In action, the SPAD XIII was admired for its ruggedness, speed, firepower and diving ability. You’ll find plenty to admire in the ElectriFly sport-scale model, too  including the realism offered by easy-to-install vacuum-formed parts. It’s easy to build and fly this WWI fighter bipe. The SPAD XIII’s camouflage covering comes expertly applied, and the ingenious system of cabanes automatically aligns the top and bottom wings perfectly. Other supplied details include a pilot figure and machine guns, representing the two Vickers .303-cal. guns that made the original SPAD XIII one of the best dogfighters of WWI.

The SPAD XIII is perfectly suited for flying at your local field or in a nearby park. With its ability to turn sharply and change directions quickly, any open area can easily become the stage for exciting sport flying and mock combat. Built-up wood structures are covered in a high-quality film with factory-applied decals. Vacuum-formed details, pilot figure, and complete hardware are included  for impressive performance and sport-scale looks with easy 6-8 hour assembly.
