Terms and Conditions
All information available on this website is, to the best of our knowledge, correct and up to date. We do not, however, accept any liability for any errors or omissions; we reserve the right to change information and specifications at any time. All weights and sizes are approximate.
We ensure the data we hold about you is correct. When placing an order online or by phone, please ensure you give us correct information. If incorrect information is given this may result in your order being delayed or in the case of an incorrect address, may be lost. If this happens, we are not responsible for the loss.
Your name, address and contact details will be passed to the delivery service for your goods as needed. We will not pass your details to any other company or organization without your permission. We will not send you any advertising material without you signing up to emails for special offers and promotions.
At RCModelCentre take security seriously and have made sure that data submitted by this website is encrypted. We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the internet.
Prices, special offers and products are subject to availability and may change.
Every possible effort is made to ensure that the prices and description we show are correct. On rare occasions prices and descriptions can be incorrect. The most common cause of this is a supplier changing their prices and is not controllable by us. In these circumstances, we will contact you to make sure it is still ok to proceed with the order at the new price. E&OE.
The web site is constantly being updated and is a more reliable source of information.
Payment Of Goods
We use pay pal as a paying system. And will only send item when payment has been received.
If an item is unavailable then we will call you to advise a similar item or we will ship on at a later date.
If you are a new customer to RCModelCentre.co.uk and you have not ordered from us before goods can only be sent to the card holder’s address. This is to prevent fraud and is for your protection as well as ours. This is the policy of our merchant service provider. If however, you are a repeat customer we can ship to an alternate address.
Please note that we aim to dispatch all orders, for items that are in stock, the same day if the order is placed before 12 noon. In busy periods this may not be possible. Please feel free to call and check.
For orders made from the
Postage, Packaging and Handling Charges
Postage costs are calculated at the end of your order and are charged at cost via royal mail 1st class recorded. There is also the option of 2nd class recorded. The prices of postage are based on size and weight this will be available on the website. Packing and handling charges are included.
Sorry no items will be replaced or refunded without first receiving the goods back and we have found the problem.
If goods are returned with fault, they will be sent back to the supplier. We will wait for the suppliers decision on how the item is faulty and when it was damaged before replacing or refunding the goods. If the supplier decides the item has been damaged by you the customer, no refund or replacement will be given.
It is the customers responsibility to check that all merchandise received is undamaged and in good working condition as if not it could be unsafe.
If you are returning items to us and they are lost by the postal service you use, we do not accept any responsibility for it being lost and will be your problem. It is your responsibility to ensure goods are returned to us in the condition in which they were received in.
Any claims of damage, shortage or manufacturing faults must be made in email to email@example.com within 3 days of receipt of the products bought.
Shipping and packaging charges for returning merchandise is the responsibility of you the customer and will not be paid by us unless authorization by us has been obtained.
Damaged merchandise includes items that have been damaged in shipping. If a shipment arrives at your door with shipping damage, please refuse the delivery. If you have already accepted delivery and then find shipping damage, please call us on Tel: 0845 0949701 immediately or email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Save all packaging material and paperwork; do not throw anything away! On some occasions the couriers have asked to see any damaged packaging.
Wronng Items ordered
When an item is ordered incorrecty a re-Stocking fee will be charged
Incorrectly Sent Items
If you order an item in error, only the price of the returned goods will be refunded. Postage will not be refunded. We will not accept back items that are not in the condition they were sent out in.
It is not impossible that our staff will send you the wrong item by mistake. We apologize if this happens. If this is the case then please email us at email@example.com to let us know what has happened.We will not dispatch replacements to you with out the incorrectly sent item being returned to us.
Motor and ESC Setups
Testing is recomended with all spec's and setups for models as we will not be held responsible for any damage caused by the products incorrectly setup.
Additions To Orders
If you wish to add to your order then please ring 0845 0949701 quote your order number and we will try to add the extra items on. If this is not possible we will send as a different order as soon as possible. We do aim to dispatch all order as soon as possible usually the same day. If you wish to cancel a recently placed order please telephone us on 0845 0949701. International callers call 0044 0845 0949701 or e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org . Items that state "In stock" will normally ship the same day if the order is received before 1pm (subject to busy periods). Items that state "In Stock - Warehouse" take a few extra days to process as these are located in our main warehouse. We do try to get these items shipping out as soon as humanly possible. Please note that all times are specified in Business Days and this does not include Holidays and Weekends. Saturday deliveries are available at a surcharge.
Delivery times aren't guaranteed and are only guide lines. It can take up to 5 Days for 1st Class and 10 Days for 2nd Class, These are extreme's that we have encountered on rare occasions.
The majority of larger parcels are shipped using Parcelforce. And although slightly more expensive, this does mean that parcels can be left at your local post office and you do not have to wait in if you do not want to. Some smaller post offices can not except huge parcels and will left at your local depot. We find that this is usually closer and more convenient for our customers. If you do not want Parcelforce as your courier then please feel free to contact us and we will make alternative arrangements.
If you could please include your telephone no. when ordering we can then add this to your consignment information and on occasion it might prove useful to the delivery driver if he can't find you or you are not in. SMS messaging about your delivery will be introduced shortly and if you sign into your account with us there will usually be a tracking no. for you to enter into the parcelforce website which can also give extra information about where your order is. If you have any other ideas to help us improve our service then please let us know.
We have to wait 28 Days after posting items with Royal Mail to put in a claim for missing items. Also the maximum Compensation on standard Services is £40.
